Greed promises security through possessions, but mercy sees people as precious and trusts God enough to hold his gifts with open hands.

More possessions cannot secure life; true riches are received from God and used for the good of others.

God’s redeemed people leave room in what they possess for vulnerable neighbours to receive justice and mercy.

The Father’s undeserved mercy frees his children to love, give and do good without calculating what they will receive in return.

Contentment trusts the God who provides; mercy makes us rich in good deeds, generous and willing to share.
