We press on towards wholeness not to secure Christ for ourselves, but because Christ has already taken hold of us.

Christ brings us near to God and joins us to a people who help one another persevere in faith, hope and love.

Christian growth joins confident dependence upon God’s power with deliberate, persistent effort to become more like Christ.

The journey from vice to virtue is the reordering of our loves: away from lives curved in upon ourselves and towards wholehearted love for God and our neighbour.

Joyful surrender begins when we place our whole selves before the God who already knows us and trust him to lead us towards life.
