Following Jesus means surrendering self-rule; the life we entrust to him is the life we truly find.

Jesus must suffer and rise to save his people; his disciples follow him by trusting God’s way rather than grasping for power or comfort.

The Lord gives purpose to our labour and security to our lives, so we can work diligently without carrying the burden of being in control.
