Hosea: God’s heart, broken for us: Part 2 of 5

Hosea 2 continues the theme of Israel being in a marriage-like relationship with God. But it is a relationship that had gone wrong. Israel had become like an adulterous spouse. However, God will not allow his covenant with Israel to be frustrated. He will be their God and they will be his people. Good Friday and Easter Day demonstrate God's continuing but renewed covenant with the spouse of Christ, the Church.
