Come along for an evening of intergenerational and inter-congregational prayer and praise.
Prayer & praise nights are always edifying evenings that bring such warm fellowship, not to be missed!
Working Bee
Many hands make light work! Please come along to our next working bee and lend a hand to tidy up our site. Whether you can come for half an hour or two hours, all helping hands will be welcome and appreciated.
Bush Walk - city edition
Saturday 13 June
Meet at Roseville station 8:20am for the 8:30am train
Distance: approximately 6 kms
Grade: easy
Time (Milsons Point to Fish Markets): about 2 hours at a relaxed pace. Approx. 3 hours including travel time from Roseville and return.
We will travel by train from Roseville to Milsons Point, where we will start our walk across the Harbour Bridge to the Rocks, Barangaroo, Darling Harbour and our final destination, the new fish markets.
Along the way we will enjoy our beautiful Sydney Harbour, a brief visit to the Garrison Church, and cobblestone streets with historic cottages and buildings including the Hero of Waterloo Hotel.
After morning tea at the fish markets, we will return by light rail to Central Station and train to Roseville.

Thank you to everyone who helped clear the lower hall which has been acting as our storage space during the hall redevelopment.
About 15 people across our congregations worked together to clear the space so that work can be done on the ceiling of the lower hall.

- Pray that God will protect them from the evil one, unite them as a team and give them wisdom as they lead the ministries of St Andrew’s.
Please pray for our Outreach:
- Please pray that as members of St Andrew’s go about their everyday lives, they will be looking to live for Jesus. In this way, pray that their actions and words may reflect what they know to be true of Jesus and pray that this causes people to question what they believe.
- Pray that people will be able to give an answer as to who Jesus is and how he has changed their lives.
- Pray that we will be missional as we look to reach our family, friends and those who live in Roseville and the surrounding communities.
Please pray for the wider Sydney Anglican Church:
- Pray for Archbishop Kanishka Raffel and the Bishop of the Northern Region, Chris Edwards, as they look to lead our church and promote Christianity in Sydney and around the world.
- Pray for the many other Anglican Churches in Sydney as they look to proclaim the gospel clearly and faithfully. Protect those who minister in these churches from temptation and the work of the evil one.
- Pray that the Sydney Anglican Church can be a blessing to Sydney.

Mission & Aid Partner of the Week
Dr Andrew Browning - Barbara May Foundation
- Pray for approval of Marianne Botenbal’s visa application so she can begin serving at the new Sonic Te Kworo Hospital in Uganda.
- Pray that God would provide another doctor to support the medical work in Ethiopia’s Afar region following Dr David MacFarlane’s departure.
- Pray for Val as she travels from Ethiopia to Australia to spend time with her daughter and granddaughters.
- Pray for the successful construction of a new placenta pit at the Bahir Dar fistula centre before the rainy season begins.
- Pray for Dr Liz in Tanzania as she begins a new season of ministry and service following her resignation from the hospital.
- Pray for the continued progress and timely completion of the new hospital being built in Chamwino, Tanzania.
- Pray for wisdom and planning as leaders in South Sudan work to establish a permanent local fistula service through Dr Lado and other local staff.
- Pray for the successful completion of water, laundry, and generator projects in the Central African Republic.
- Give thanks for the near completion of the new Sonic Te Kworo Hospital in Uganda and pray for wisdom in recruiting the right staff to serve there.
- Pray for faithfulness and truthfulness as Andrew speaks in schools, churches, and the media throughout Australia.
